Anna’s poetry came about as a teenager, when her dream of becoming a professional dancer was destroyed.

When professors at Iceland University of the Arts, where she graduated with a Masters in the Naip program heard her poetry, they encouraged her to focus on it, as they found her poems to be deep and meaningful.

For this performance, Anna uses effects on her voice and sensors on her tap shoes to trigger sounds, thus making music in an innovative way.
