Kammertonen (FO/DK)
Kammertonen is a classical chamber duo that plays music for flute and guitar. Since Kammertonen’s start-up in 2019, they have held concerts around Denmark with a special focus on Argentine and Danish music. By participating in Summartónar, Kammertonen will offer Nordic tones from the rich culture of the Faroe Islands set against the Danish national composer, Carl Nielsen. Solveig and Søren are both graduates of the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. Søren also has a degree from Alicante in Spain and is a member of the CRAS Ensemble. Solveig moved to the Faroe Islands in 2020, where she now works as a freelance musician and teacher.
