& Bartal has been active on the faroese music scene since 2016. He’s played concerts in Denmark, Greenland, Germany, Finland and Russia. In 2010 he founded the duo Guðrun & Bartal, alongside the singer Guðrun Háberg Pætursdóttir. In 2013 they released their debut album, ‘Vónin er’ on the record label Tutl. & Bartal has also released two singles/videos on youtube.
