Aldubáran (FO)
Musicians from the ensemble Aldubáran will perform a mixed programme with Faroese chamber music. Together we will embark on a journey through various fascinating musical worlds, in which some of our most prominent Faroese composers will express some of their intimate works for small ensembles.
The ensemble Aldubáran was formed in 1995 by a group of Faroese musicians keen on promoting and performing Faroese contemporary classical music. Aldubáran currently consists of 14 musicians. Aldubáran has commissioned, recorded and performed numerous works by Faroese composers, internationally as well as in the Faroe Islands to great acclaim.
