Anna Iachino uses piezo mics underneath her tap shoes, where sounds are triggered by the movement of her feet and the speaking of her voice as she recites her poetry. The music and sounds are enhanced with sonic pads and on some pieces, she uses the midi keyboard to tie together a bow of colors and soundscapes. Anna developed her new artistic practice during her studies at Iceland University of the Arts where she graduated with a master’s in music in 2022. Accompanying Anna is multi-instrumentalist/electronics, Arnold Ludvig, also known as EagleCentric.
