Piparstertur (FO) & David Miilmann Group (DK)
Piparstertur (FO)
Five shy guys who enthusiastically find beauty in the lesser played tones.
Piparstertur is a semi-poppy jazz-fusion band that blends the complexity of jazz with accessible riffs, melodies, and groove. The five “piparsterturs” have diverse backgrounds. This also characterizes their style – drawing inspiration from everything from classical music to pop, rock, jazz, and gospel. They create music that both welcomes and challenges the listener. The songs are easily accessible on the surface but are filled with exciting intricate rhythms, harmonies, and motifs.

Story-telling instrumental music.
There are overwhelming forces at play when David Miilmann Group (DMG) takes the stage. The 5 musicians have chosen their instruments as their voice. It’s emotional, intense, and life-affirming when the band collectively improvises, creating a unique experience with each other and the audience.
With guitarist David Miilmann as the catalyst and a shared love for the music and each other, DMG draws the listener into a colorful and uplifting world that also contains facets of melancholy and contemplation.
The band is releasing their second album ‘What’s Left’ on the 1st of March. The album tells the story of unstoppable change within the band. Since being formed in 2021, the band has grown together and individually. Each song on the album tells its own story from the time after their debut album, ‘Waiting for Myself’.
Despite their young age the band has developed a mature expression through their shared experiences. Building a name together, creating close bonds and facing life changing challenges together have made them family.
‘What’s Left’ is a testament to the band’s determination to delve deeper into their music and their relationship – come and experience the music at its best – LIVE!
DMG released their debut album, ‘Waiting for Myself,’ in late summer 2021. Since then, the band has found success with two DMA Blues nominations, being a finalist in the national jazz competition, and performing concerts across Denmark.
