Concerto Grotto w/Gabriel Gold
Sail with us to a sea-grotto where you enter in a boat to experience live music, played in the unique acoustics of this unusual concert hall. The trips are arranged in cooperation with Summartónar Festival and have been a regular event for some years now.
Enjoy The Norðlýsið, the fresh sea air and the breathtaking views on the way to the destination. Sense the excitement of visiting a sea-grotto and the exceptional experience of a musician utilizing the special acoustics of the grotto. After the 15-30 min. concert, you return to the Norðlýsið and a hot bowl of our creamy fish soup.
* This trip requires you to be able to transfer into a boat for the grotto visit, and back aboard after the trip. This requires normal agility. You will also be required to fit a flotation suit and vest.
