Andrias Blaasvær is a Faroese violinist who started taking violin lessons 12 years old with Nikolaos Kapnas. Andrias started studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2019 and is now finishing his master’s degree with Alexandre Zapolski. Andrias has played with many orchestras in Denmark, for example Copenhagen Phil, the Royal Danish Orchestra and the national chamber orchestra as well as being a member of the Danish National Youth Ensemble DUEN and the Faroese symphony orchestra, where he has also performed as a soloist multiple times. In 2023 Andrias won the musical competition Stella Polaris.
