Alda Magna was formed in 2009 on the Faroe Islands and The members of the group are currently living in Iceland, Faroe Islands and in Denmark. “Like Faces In The Water” is the group’s 4th release. Alda Magna was elected as the band of this year at the Faroese Music Awards in 2018.
Alda Magna takes you on another perilous, flowing and dreamy musical adventure where the beauty and drama of the sea unfolds with predictable unpredictability. A sea of human faces in the waves, beautiful faces, frightened faces, ugly faces, childish faces, happy faces; twisting faces that, like the quiet poetic plumes of waves, turn into roaring storms and raging wrath.
