______________________________________ Við einum spælandi samspæli og røskari nærveru hevur Bliss Quintet skjótt etablerað seg sum ein framskygdur bólkur innan norska jazzhøpi.

Dramatiskar orkuríkar balladur, fanfarelíknandi hornriff, fløktar rútmur og opin harmonisk landsløg eru miðdepil hjá Bliss Quintet. Enn væl hildin og viðlíkahildin í bólksins ljóði, er fokus á spælandi samspæl, villan orkufulla nærveru, og elementir av fríum spæli, fylgja í fótasporunum hjá kendum norðurlendskum bólkum sum Atomic og Masqualero.

Eftir at aðru fløguna Glasshouse kom út í 2023 á Jazzland Recordings, hava teir síðani verið virknir á ferð, og hava verið við á  festivalum sum Jazzwoche Burghausen, Jazzclub Ferrara, Moldejazz og Jazzahead.

With a playful interaction and energetic presence, Bliss Quintet has quickly established itself as a forward-thinking band within the Norwegian jazz community.

Dramatic energetic ballads, fanfare-like horn riffs, complex rhythms and open harmonic landscapes are central themes for Bliss Quintet. Still well-kept and maintained in the band’s sound, is the focus on playful interaction, wild energetic presence, and elements of free playing, following in the footsteps of renowned nordic bands such as Atomic and Masqualero. 

Following the release of their second album Glasshouse in 2023 on Jazzland Recordings, they have since been touring actively, making appearances at clubs and festivals such as Jazzwoche Burghausen, Jazzclub Ferrara, Moldejazz and Jazzahead.
